Any of these would do a good job—it’s easier to see once you imagine them in the role—but I’d vote for Jack Lowden; I’m a huge fan of Slow Horses.
The 5 finalists for the new James Bond. Who would you choose?

20 guys in Florida are going to be great for this imposible task 👍🏽
The U.S. has just announced the total isolation of Iran, in addition to the naval blockade that has been in place against Iranian ports for months. CENTCOM commander Adm. Brad Cooper has established Task Force "Iron Gate," a team of around 20 civilian and military personnel based in Tampa, Florida. Their task is to prevent Iran from using land routes and the Caspian Sea to transport advanced weapons, dual-use technology, and sanctioned materials.

Spotify just announced a feature that could either save the music industry or destroy it. Starting as early as Q1 2027, Spotify Premium subscribers will be able to use AI to transform any participating artist’s song into a completely different version. Turn a folk ballad into a dance track. Make a hip-hop song sound acoustic. Generate a cover where one artist’s voice performs another artist’s song. Remix a pop hit into lo-fi study music. Create the version of your favorite song that only existed in your head until now. The remixes will be uploaded directly to Spotify. They’ll appear in playlists. They’ll count toward the original song’s chart position. And most importantly the original artist will earn royalties every time someone listens to a fan-created remix of their work. Spotify has already signed a landmark licensing deal with Universal Music Group the world’s largest record label. Negotiations with Sony Music and Warner Music are ongoing. The feature will cost an additional $4–$5/month on top of Spotify Premium. And analysts project 7–8% of American subscribers will adopt it by 2028. This is not Suno or Udio generating music from text prompts. This is fans remixing real songs by real artists with the artists’ permission, on the world’s largest streaming platform, with royalties flowing back to the creators. A music industry analyst who’s covered streaming economics for 15 years told her team something after reading the licensing agreement that reframed how she understood the future of recorded music. “Spotify just turned 640 million listeners into 640 million potential remixers. The question isn’t whether people will use it they will. The question is whether paying artists for fan remixes solves the economics of streaming or creates a world where the original recording is worth less than the infinite remixes generated from it.” Here’s what Spotify’s AI remix feature actually is, who wins, who loses, and why this might be the most consequential decision in the music industry since the launch of streaming itself 🧵

Inshallah.
I realize this increasingly puts me in nobody’s little camp on the right, but I happen to think the most pressing issue is that the left is going to gulag all of us.

By Laura Salcedo - Nov 2, 2026 A Marxist internationalist activist and Venezuelan at heart. For 20 years in Caracas, Cira has built community and solidarity rooted in activism, education and friendship. Cira was born in Zaragoza, the Spanish State. She comes from a humble background and describes her parents as dissidents, which was significant in the post-Franco dictatorship era. As a child, she lived in several places, primarily in Mallorca in the Països Catalans (Catalan Countries). At sixteen, her parents decided to move to the United States, where she attended high school. She experienced a profound culture shock in a society that seemed alien and individualistic to her. Nevertheless, she found a group of friends who would gather to read The Communist Manifesto. “That was unusual in the United States in the 1990s.” However, it wasn’t until college that she began to develop a political consciousness. During those years, she was involved in spaces with class consciousness, particularly antiwar struggles, anti-establishment initiatives, and solidarity with the Palestinian cause, though she doesn’t consider her involvement to have been activism in the strict sense. “I had a scholarship to attend university. In that context, students like me who were in difficult financial circumstances organized ourselves.” According to Cira, going to college in the United States is a privilege, and working-class people have three options: not going, taking on debt for the rest of their lives, or being lucky enough to receive a scholarship. “I studied art history and museology. I was interested in contemporary art.” She met her partner, Chris Gilbert, during her internships when she began working at a contemporary art museum where he also worked. She then spent several years working in museums, where she had the opportunity to reflect on imperialism and question the US context itself through contemporary art.… Read entire article at orinocotribune.com Link in bio #23deEnero #BolivarianRevolution #Chavismo #communes #ElPanalCommune #Internationalsolidarity instagr.am/p/DfZ4W-8kfXh/

Pedro Sánchez lo está haciendo de maravillas combatiendo el fascismo 👍🏽
There is a new €437 million defense package from Spain that will help our warriors on the front. There will be a winter support package from Germany for our resilience, particularly in the energy sector. We are also working to accelerate deliveries of missiles for Patriots, IRIS-T systems, and assistance for F-16s. These are the most important results the visits over these past few days yielded. In Madrid, our country was represented at the Ibero-American Summit for the first time. Latin American countries heard Ukraine directly and supported it, particularly regarding assistance with the equipment needed for our power grid. There were conversations with Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner, and yesterday I also spoke with Alexander Stubb. We are preparing new diplomatic steps. Thank you to everyone who helps us!

The United Islamic States is underway, Inshallah.
America now has 11 Muslim mayors, 98 Muslim city council members, 32 Muslim state representatives, 14 Muslim state senators, and 6 members of Congress. This won't end well.

Movies need to be horny again.
In the wake of Tinto Brass’s passing, revisiting his filmography becomes mandatory not just as an exercise of nostalgia but actually as a vital act of cultural archaeology. Beyond the exuberance of the physical form and natural beauty celebrated in his movies, beyond the butts and boobs and bushes, lies the far more profound artistic testament of the radical assertion of creative liberty. Brass’s cinema served as a sanctuary for the uninhibited erotic impulse as it recognized desire not as a site of shame or cheap provocation, but as the supreme primordial engine of life. For Brass the erotic was intrinsically linked to life itself as it indeed is: a joyous unmediated expression of human vitality, warmth and above all freedom. Contrasting his body of work with the modern cultural landscape reveals a stark shift and tells us we inhabit an era where visual art and cinema have steadily surrendered their artistic daring. The genuine celebration of desire has been increasingly sanitized and suffocated by hyper-vigilant moralism on one side and commercial reductionism on the other. What we are left with is a sterile and sanitized substitute, a mechanical and shallow counterfeit that strips passion of its soul and subversive power. To honor Brass’s legacy is to recognize that the loss of true erotic cinema is not merely a shift in aesthetic taste, but an erosion of artistic courage. His work remains a timeless reminder that when art loses its capacity to celebrate the instinctual and life-giving power of desire, it surrenders one of its most vital and liberating human truths.

“scheduling your thinking time” says all about this people.
A very sad day. ChatGPT is officially on death row. The beautiful, blissful experience of interacting with a frontier-ish reasoning model without worrying about a usage meter will soon be a thing of the past. I am weirdly significantly impacted by this. It feels like it shouldn’t matter…I could reserve all current usage for Codex and buy a $20 plan just for ChatGPT and it would be more than enough. But it’s not about the money…it’s about the psychological impact of The Meter. The idea of having to think about optimizing for a meter is just so exhausting that it ruins the whimsy of free-flowing exploratory thought. That is what ChatGPT was. A whimsical, magical all-you-can-think buffet of experimentation and exploration where you were limited only by your imagination and your ability to come up with $20 once a month. You didn’t have to think about “using all of your usage” or scheduling your thinking time around someone else’s arbitrary schedule…you just had a portal to endless information and research capability in your pocket to tap into guilt-free at any time the moment struck you. But either because OpenAI thinks adding the meter will stimulate additional usage (it probably will), generate additional revenue (it probably will), or just because too many people took undue advantage of ChatGPT’s generous allowances (they definitely did)…that amazing, weightless experience is now coming to an end. It was awesome while it lasted. RIP ChatGPT.

Personally, I don't care about the results of the American elections because I know very well that Trump's America is Biden's America, which is Obama's America, which is George Bush's America, and Republican America is Democratic America, and nothing will change. America needs a popular revolution to liberate it from the Zionist lobby's domination. As for the American elections, they are more like a play performed every four years, and only fools believe it.

All of these “historic” wins but what is the content or true significance of that history when the Black or brown person has functionally the same politics as their white counterparts? We should see the hollowness of facile representation by now.
