Anyone know the best way to connect with @VirginAtlantic since the #chat via 'manage my #booking' goes as far as this point 👇🏿 before hanging for almost 2 hours? Tried twice. Can't DM either; it redirects you to chat. #VirginAtlantic #CustomerService #airtravel #Flights #help

THANK YOU @BWGovernment for pursuing (over generous) #equity with @DeBeers for #wealth derived from our #resources. PLEASE don't yield. How about a #tender? The example you're setting is POWERFUL & overdue! 💙🖤🤍🇧🇼 #Africa #Botswana #diamonds #mining reuters.com/markets/commodit…

In time for International Day for #Women & #Girls in #Science tomorrow, I'm so excited to share this #partnership with @theUKESF to get more girls into #electronic #engineering ! Great #career facing a #talent & #diversity shortage. #WomenInSTEM linkedin.com/posts/mariannec…

The ONE piece of data intended to identify #police officers was left out of a #complaint about a police officer throwing his literal weight on a handcuffed #Black #woman obviously non compos mentis, being restrained by a 2nd officer @ #Highbury @TfL. @BTP @ITV @MayorofLondon #BLM

So the #ShoulderBadge no I gave MANY times in my complaint against a @metpoliceuk officer yday was somehow* left off the write up, as was the fact that the officer cancelled the @NHSuk #ambulance I'd called for a #woman in obvious #mental distress. Interesting. #BlackLivesMatter

Such a proud #African always, but especially after the historic achievement of @EnMaroc !! First #football team from #Africa to male it to the #semifinals of the @FIFAWorldCup ! #Belgium, #Spain & #Portugal are HUGE teams so this achievement didn't come easy. SO PROUD! 🇲🇦🥳🌍

MANY layers to explore in the @JeremyClarkson incident! #Bullying, #misogyny, #Misogynoir, #genderviolence, #racism, #allyship & #women who don't support other women ie @RoyalFamily & #VictoriaNewton (editor of @TheSun).
But also people power! 🥳💪🏿🙌🏿

The #agriculture and #food sector accounted for 15% of the GDP of Eastern & Southern #Africa. With the right support and investments, these sectors have tremendous potential to create wealth across the region: wrld.bg/xWM550M42gz

The @FIFAWorldCup has shone a light on more than just #global #football #talent. The casual #racism & #biased determination around #humanrights ie what they are, who gets them & when to fight for them is something I've covered in my latest @LinkedIn post.

A case study of surface level #diversity vs true diversity that leads to #change through #representation & #inclusion of different #value & #backgrounds. What #policies or #changes will reflect the #ethnicity & #heritage being celebrated as a #win beyond the optics? #RishiSunak
I will never let political correctness stand in the way of keeping you and your family safe.

Interesting how anyone would be so audacious & tone deaf as to ACTUALLY applaud themselves for stopping something they should never have started. I mean WOW! #FawltyLogic #colonialism #slavery #BritishEmpire

So multiple @bedspolice #officers felt threatened by an 80+ yr old *armed* with his walking aid, now described as a "wooden implement" & left him bruised...after they turned up at the wrong address in the middle of the night? Do better. #PoliceBrutality #UK #empathy #Police #Beds
Two uniformed officers responding to reports of a disturbance in Potton at around 5am on Friday initially approached the wrong address by mistake.
As they walked away from the property, they were approached in the street by a resident holding a wooden implement.

I'm flabbergasted... So 2 anniversaries post #GeorgeFloyd, this is what #progress looks like for #Black people, & what protection looks like for #Black #women? Wow. All those #antiracism commitments & declarations, but when it's time for action, back to zero. #BlackLivesMatter

I'm going to need to hear what POSSIBLE reason (I use that in the most liberal terms) @UCLan can have to #suspend the #Black #students who called out highly inflammatory, upsetting #racist symbolism & language. I thought we were encouraging speaking out 😡😤?! #antiracism #BLM
This is a student from The University of Central Lancashire.
He has a swastika and ‘I hate N******’ daubed on his chest.
@UCLan suspended two black students this week for posting this picture to their Instagram accounts in protest.
They must be reinstated immediately!
