I used to watch and love Speedway in the 70s and 80s and remember when PC became world champion, so it was a great surprise to meet him at Kempton and buy his book
I have now completed it and learnt that PC was more than just a great speedway rider, he has my total respect.

With the latest @retrospeedway release of @PCAutobiography a lot of the great riders Britain had in the @UprightSpeedway era have told their story.
Question is who’s next to tell their story?

A snappy tale from PC, recalling his foray into the reptile enclosure at @TheAces Hyde Road 'Zoo' with his school pal and future England team-mate Dave Morton.
Love this 🐊🐊🤣
A young Peter Collins saving up to get his first grass track bike ....... snuck into the crocodile house at the old Belle Vue complex 😂
Loved speaking to PC about his life & autobiography
