More than 400 pay tribute to motorcycle display team founder ift.tt/6fwgaWO
Saddened to hear of Roy Pratt MBE’s passing. A legendary man who gave inner-city London kids like me purpose, belief, and direction through the Imps Motorcycle Display Team. A selfless servant to the community—his impact will live on.
Rest in peace, Roy. Godspeed.
Thank you! Glad to hear you're still running things and congrats on the MBE! Well deserved. You & The Honda Imps did a lot for me as a kid. xitter.cf/roypratt/status/847696…
Had a convo with a tech friend recently discussing advances in policing systems & how it’s improved repetitive form filling.
Things like Niche and Pronto.
Wild to think GPT4 could build-out similar in a few hrs of prompts.
I hope we don’t stop innovating. The tech is here.

This is our December drink and drug drive campaign #OperationLimit
Targeting drivers who make our roads unsafe is something we do day in, day out. December's focus is about reinforcing the message.

Something a lot of people don’t know about driving to urgent incidents on blue lights…but inside of the police car, this is the actual song we sing, whilst on route.
True story.

One aspect of policing that always amazes me when out with frontline officers is the sheer demand versus available resources. Then when you ask the public about police numbers most are widely optimistic in their guesses, and have no idea about challenges and available resources.

Hard to find the words ….
No family should ever have to experience this pain and trauma 💔 The most sickening and heinous attack on helpless, happy children doing what they love 🙏🏼

Serving as a neighborhood beat officer remains the most rewarding role in my police career. I miss it. 👮🏻♂️

Wow.

🧵 🤖 Imagine a future where AI seamlessly integrates into policing, radically enhancing efficiency and accuracy. Here's how it could transform operations:
5/6: Efficiency translates to quality. Error-free statements mean stronger cases, boosting detection and conviction rates—a significant win for justice and for the victims. Decision makers need to see just how powerful new AI is nowadays.
*Note: Numerous AI Companies Available*
6/6: By streamlining processes, we're not just saving time, we're empowering officers to do more. Public records suggest thousands of hours could be reclaimed annually per officer - imagine the impact. It could even, with the help of witnesses, recreate scenes and create e-fits.
