Never argue with stupid people. They will drag you down to their level and then beat you with experience.

I've spent decades here in Oregon. Raised my kids here. Used to brag about Portland to anyone who'd listen. Now I barely recognize downtown, and half my neighbors are celebrating more of the same. This doesn't feel like losing an election. It feels like grief.

Oregon doesn't vote, it worships. Same party, same failures, and the faithful still show up every time. Question it and you're a heretic. I love this state, but I've never felt more hopeless about it.

Don't blame cheating or mail-in ballots. Oregon meant it. This is what years of schools and media teaching feelings over thinking gets you. We pay more, get less, and call it progress. Hopeless. How long before we become like France?

I’m sick to my stomach. Oregon just handed the keys right back to the people who turned Portland into a national punchline. Some of the highest income taxes in the country and we still can’t keep downtown open. And people were cheering tonight. Unreal.

Platforms pass the cost to French users via higher Netflix/YouTube prices or more ads. French firms like OVHcloud and VLC get hit too (minister warned half the yield falls on smaller local providers). Servers may relocate abroad, raising latency. Heavy users and gaming suffer most. Past digital taxes showed the same: burden lands on domestic consumers and businesses, not just US giants. Not final law yet.
BREAKING: 🇫🇷 French lawmakers just voted 11-10 in favour to introduce a tax on internet data. If approved, Netflix, Youtube, Meta and all internet businesses will have to pay a tax of 5.5 cents for every GB users consume in France. That’s nearly $12 Billion in new revenue for the government.

Well an immigration visa line at the Guangzhou China USA consulate would say otherwise.....

The fallacy here is thinking democracy is the best.

If you put $200 on Tina Kotex to win you would only get $243 back. People in Oregon are tribal and brainwashed. Its in schools media everywhere. Its hopeless like the scene from Invasion of Body Snatchers. Tina Kotex will win again and Oregon will just get worse.
We the People of Oregon deserve better than this!! Pull out this dirty Kommie Kotex and dispose of her!! End this evil, corrupt communist infestation!! Save Oregon!! Vote Red!! Elect Christine Drazan for Oregon Governor!! 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸

Searches of her older posts (including pre-2016 activity) return no relevant results confirming Republican registration, voting, or affiliation. Party registration records are not publicly searchable from X alone without additional identifying information, so her claims rest on her word
Hey @GOP! This ex-Republican just voted straight Democrat AGAIN because I hate you. You will never get the stink of Trump off your party and it is dead to me now. Anyway, have the day you deserve! God bless the USA and Slava Ukraine!

Europe needs to wreck the US defense industry. Buy 100% European. Develop your own tech. Do not buy American. Make the US pay for its treachery.

Alberta, America loves you.
Would you be a good president? Everyone thinks they would. Fantasy President puts you in the Oval Office on day one, with the real Congress, real crises and a country that answers back.

Yes, I know the Roadster still isn't shipping. Capitalism's vaporware still beats socialism's finished product.

Its called working for a living vs 3 months off for the summer, 32 hrs per week of work, 2 yrs off for having a baby and retirement at 60
There is a version of Europe that wins the 21st century. It does not require erasing borders, nations, or cultures. It requires completing the single market. Building a real capital markets union. Creating a European army. Developing energy sovereignty. Scrapping the unanimity rule. The barrier to achieve this is not knowledge of what to do. It is will. If Europe does the reforms it needs to do, fixes the problems it needs to solve, and if Europe fully unites, it will win the 21st century.

Dont fall for this. No Ukraine did not take out Russian data centers and Russians are not influencing elections. Liberals have main stream media for that.
Ukraine did strike three Yandex data centers Oct 8-11, confirmed by the company, crashing its automated traffic per Cloudflare. That drop is mainly search crawlers, not social media bots. Researchers and monitors report no clear decline in political troll activity on X. The right-wing bots claim is speculative.

The bond market now rates L’Oréal, LVMH and Air Liquide as safer borrowers than the French Republic. Italy and Greece borrow cheaper than France too. French 10-year yields came within a whisker of 5%, and the spread over German Bunds hit its widest since 2011. Germans are reading this as a win. It isn’t. France has run a primary deficit every year since 2002 and hasn’t balanced a budget since 1974. The interest bill grows by roughly €10 billion a year. The prime minister has no majority, Le Pen leads the polls promising fiscal discipline AND an earlier retirement age, and Mélenchon’s party wants to turn €488 billion of French bonds held by the eurosystem into debt that never gets repaid. So what happens when the next French president refuses to cut and dares Frankfurt to let French bonds collapse? The Economist’s answer: France probably wins. Greece tried that in 2015 and folded in three weeks. France won’t, because the EU doesn’t exist without France and everyone in Paris knows it. That leaves the ECB pressing a button it built in 2022 and has never used, buying the debt of a country running a 5.4% deficit that can’t pass its own budget. And the biggest shareholder in the ECB is the Bundesbank. Germany spent 25 years thinking it was the responsible adult in the eurozone. Turns out it’s the co-signer on France’s loan, and France just stopped making payments.

Revolution against what? France debt is > gdp. And interest rate payments are more that entire education budget. France is broke, there is no Revolution there is only coping with reality

There will never be enough other people's money to satisfy the people that never had to work for money. #France
