Mop up from the dock fire earlier today. Crews from A and B shift arrived quickly and put a stop on it before any watercraft were lost. Thanks for the auto-aid @LakeTravisFR and ESD 1. All in all 3 boats and 2 engines responded.
"A" and "B" shift firefighters (it was close to shift change) combining to make a great stop. Nice work!
And thank you to our auto-aid partners @LTfirefighters for their assistance

Station 803 is now open full-time! Located at 311 North Paleface Ranch Road. Swing by and tell them hello why don’t you.
Today marked the first day of @pedernales_fire having 3 staffed engines on duty (that wasn't for holiday/weather staffing). We will have 3 engines and a minimum of 10 firefighters on duty every day for you and we couldn't be prouder.
Way to start us off right today, "A" shift!
A clean, stocked Engine 803 is resting in station, waiting for tomorrow's opening as fully-staffed station 24/7/365. This will increase our on-duty resources by 50%. Very excited to start this next chapter in @pedernales_fire history!
