There's hope!
Tens of thousands of people came from rivers & seas across the country to march through London in the biggest water demonstration in UK history. It was so large that people were still leaving the Albert Embankment as the procession entered Parliament Square.
All those marching on the @MarchforWater had a simple message: we need real action for clean water & we need it now.

Me in hospital fighting for my life whilst thousands of sons, daughters, mums, dads, grandparents, aunts, uncles, husbands, wives and friends are being blown into pieces and marred for life in the Middle East and Ukraine. How totally, totally insane!

GOOD NEWS: UK govt will NOT defend plans for new Cumbria coalmine as it admits approval by previous govt was UNLAWFUL.
This is a HUGE win for Friends of the Earth and SLACC who have been FIGHTING this decision, let’s hope the court makes the RIGHT call next week

83,000 men locked up in UK prisons! Most of them traumatised from difficult childhoods, poverty and a school system that excludes children at the drop of a hat if they can't cope with the process and don't look like they'll get good exam results. Suicide's rife.

Am loving @GeorgeMonbiot & Peter Hutchinson's book 'The Invisible Doctrine.' It's a stark read as you see how right-wing think tanks and Neoliberal propaganda rule the show but this is stuff we all should know if we're ever going to change the system.
And we can change it..😉
Want a story of hope? All my adult life I've had death on my heels and a decade on kidney dialysis yet I generally feel very alive and, as a therapist for 20 years have a positive spin on human nature...😊
