I used to hate the tribalism shown by Telugu, Tamil or anyone and would be proud that Kannadigas act more professionally.. but I was wrong, that is a real weakness that hurt Kannadigas more and more.

At least at a larger corporate level, I haven’t seen anyone recruiting based on a person’s mother tongue or which state he or she is from.
If the allegation is about campus interviews, where companies go to campuses for hiring young talent, that means something is not right with Karnataka colleges/education.
It cannot be that the companies are deliberately avoiding Kannadigas. That simply won’t be true.

My friend once told, he couldn’t even get permission to place relief-material collection boxes in office when floods devastated a region within Karnataka. Ironically, just a month earlier, they had received email after email encouraging employees to contribute to similar relief efforts for a neighbouring state.

If Malayalees alone get to decide the present and the future of Kerala, shouldn't Kannadigas alone get to decide Karnataka's present and future?
Then why did this Malayalee represent Karnataka in Rajya Sabhe three times? Why does he own Kannada news and media organizations when he does not have any linguistic/ social/ cultural stake here in Karnataka?

So my advise to CM Satheesan is this - ensure sensitivity and respect to ALL Malayalees equally. Hindus, Christians and Muslims.
Do not encourage anti-India , anti-Hindu insults/discourse/actions/sentiment like Jinnah worship.
In that you will have our support.
But selective secularism and selective talk of communal harmony will make you like every other fake politician before you. And we will resist it. Fully. Everytime.
