US Senator Mark Warner has won 68% of the vote in #Loudoun, the largest Democratic victory margin in the county in decades. I am still checking data, but it may be the largest since 1936.
US Rep. Suhas Subramanyam appears to have done significantly better in #Loudoun this year (right) versus 2024 (left), winning a larger percentage of votes in Sterling and Ashburn and potentially picking up precincts in western Loudoun, according to data from @vpapupdates
On local funding bond measures, #Loudoun voters approved all three requests, but not equally. Public transportation funding won 74% support and public safety 72%, but school projects only 65%.
#Loudoun voters, mirroring statewide trends so far, have approved all three Constitutional Amendments, supporting the right to an abortion the most (70%), the right to same-sex marriage second (64%), and restoration of felon voting rights the least (62%).

Suhas Subramanyam currently has over 65% of the vote in #Loudoun, which would be the largest Democratic victory in the county since 1940.
#Loudoun deputies are on scene of a reportedly self-inflicted shooting at #Broadlands Center Plaza. No other information at this time.
Voters are already steady at Eastern #Loudoun polling locations. Voting is open until 7 PM.

A Woodbridge man is in custody after an armed domestic abduction led the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office to issue an alert for the suspect saying he was "armed and dangerous." The man has a lengthy history of violence.

ARMED AND DANGEROUS SUSPECT IN CUSTODY: LCSO has confirmed to Loudoun Now that Santiago has been taken into custody and is at the Loudoun County Adult Detention Center. He is scheduled to be arraigned this morning on charges of abduction, domestic battery, and damaging a phone line to prevent someone from calling 911.
