It's metal fabrication week in the PNW BOCES Auto Body class. Steve Simpson's students are welding, grinding, and sanding to create custom replacement parts for refurbished vehicles. It's a good way for these second-year students to put the skills they've learned to the test. #PNWBOCES #wecandothat @pnwbocestech

Art educators, special education teachers, and anyone interested in art education joined PNW BOCES Regional Arts Coordinator Marisa Micolucci and educator and Art Therapist and Dr. Lynn Cukaj for a day of professional learning focused on adaptive art strategies for engagement and inclusion for all students. #pnwboces #wecandothat

PNW BOCES and Hendrick Hudson High School alum Jason Marino said he learned the tricks of the trade from his BOCES Intro to Construction teacher Brian Duffy. Marino, who is working as a general contract manager for a construction company, said the program at PNW BOCES helped launch his career. “I would not be where I am without the program at BOCES,” said Marino, who graduated in 2025. Becoming a general contract manager a year after graduation was quite the coup for Marino. “We learned so much in our Construction program at BOCES,” Marino said. “It made it so much easier to begin a career.” #pnwboces #wecandothat
