🚨Rotator Cuff Strength🚨
ㅤ
Want a stronger, healthier shoulder? Try THESE 10 exercises, broken down by 4 muscles‼️
ㅤ
1.) Infraspinatus: The main external rotator of the shoulder. It keeps the ball centered in the socket and helps decelerate your arm after a throw or overhead movement.
ㅤ
- Cable External Rotation
- External Rotation Wall ISO
- Dumbbell Bent Knee External Rotation
ㅤ
2.) Subscapularis: The largest rotator cuff muscle. It drives internal rotation and stabilizes the front of the shoulder when your arm is overhead or cocked back.
ㅤ
- Cable Internal Rotation
- Internal Rotation Wall ISO
- Single Arm Lateral Landmine Press
ㅤ
3.) Supraspinatus: Initiates arm elevation and helps hold the shoulder joint together. It’s one of the most commonly irritated rotator cuff muscles.
ㅤ
- Incline Y’s
- Shoulder Abduction Wall ISO
ㅤ
4.) Teres Minor: A small but important external rotator that works with the infraspinatus to control and stabilize the shoulder.
ㅤ
- Prone External Rotation Liftoffs
- Band Assisted Prone External Rotation Liftoffs

🚨Pre-Throw Activation🚨
Try THESE 4 exercises before the next time you throw‼️
ㅤ
1.) Pogos: Quick, low hops focusing on fast ground contact. This activates your calves and primes your lower body for explosive, reactive movement.
ㅤ
2.) Scoop Tosses: Using a medicine ball, rollin to an explosive toss forward from the hips on both sides. This helps activate your core and teaches your body to generate and transfer power efficiently.
ㅤ
3.) Stand to Squats: Move from a standing position down into a squat and back up with control. This wakes up your legs and gets your lower body ready to generate force.
ㅤ
4.) Side Planks: Hold a side plank position, engaging through your obliques and hips. This activates your core stability, which helps protect your arm by keeping your body in sync during the throwing motion.
