My dad sailed out of Halifax to protect WW2 convoys. He was on the HMCS Cayuga supporting land forces during the Korean War. #remembrance #service #veterans #canada

Friday giggle. Especially the response to a phone call from Mom.
I’m being contacted by someone claiming to represent WestJet and using What’s App - is this normal??
You always disappoint me @WestJet - making my 4 hour flight to Halifax on a crappy Swoop plane . No wifi-tiny seats. Terrible service. I’ll get refund for premium but it doesn’t make up for the stress I’m feeling. #airtravelrights #airlinefail #airlines #Canada

This was made in 1943 during WWII by the US War Dept., and it resonates 81 years later. We haven't learned a damn thing from history. Why are we still otherizing each other?
I am mad as hell! 😡

I just cancelled my Adobe licence after many years as a customer.
The new terms give Adobe "worldwide royalty-free licence to reproduce, display, distribute" or do whatever they want with any content I produce using their software.
This is beyond insane. No creator in their right mind can accept this .
You pay a huge monthly subscription and they want to own your content and your entire business as well.
Going to have to learn some new tools.

So I closed my @BMO accounts including a credit card I never activated. Then I get a brand new cc in the mail and my Equifax says a new account was opened with BMO.
I went in person to local branch and they said no worries & cut up the card but why is it even on my credit score?

Arthur C. Clarke on BBC's Horizon in 1964, when he gave some astonishing predictions about the future.
I’m all for peaceful demonstrations. Seems like more aggressive activities and people with their own more violent intentions are taking advantage of our societal support for diverse opinions.

3) The one account I do trust to tell the truth on COVID & #LongCovid is actually WHO’s sub account @WHO_Europe — honestly, WHO Europe (who I used to consult for) is by far the best public health account that shares the most accurate data without political interference.
Millions of people like Justine are living with #LongCovid - and we are learning more about it all the time.
