You should look at the Puerto Rico elections where the PNP (pro statehood party) literally controls the electoral commission, bans electoral alliances (that could defeat it), uses dead voters, makes deals with prison gangs to secure the “voluntold” votes of prisoners (look at the drugs for votes scandal ProPublica investigation), and changes the electoral law to benefit the party and sideline opponents.
