A big thank you to everyone across Long Island and all of our employees who came out to participate in this year's Power to Feed Long Island initiative. Once again, we partnered with Island Harvest to collect food and household items for those facing food insecurity. Because of all of our generous neighbors, we were able to collect 16,161 pounds of food which will support 27,851 meals this year alone. Thank you again and hope to see you again next summer!

We are absolutely thrilled to see the completion of @getinnvolved 's brand-new building, made possible with support from our Business First program. The INN is a wonderful non-profit organization in West Hempstead that provides essential, no-cost services to Long Islanders in need. With help from our program grants, this new facility will allow The INN to double their operational size and expand their reach across the community. This recent coastal storm was one of the most severe in our 12 years of service to Long Island and the Rockaways. We want to extend a massive THANK YOU to our customers and our entire team following this past weekend's weather. When severe weather hits, it takes an all-hands-on-deck approach both out in the field and behind the scenes. Thank you to the more than 1,350 field personnel, including off-island crews, and our partners at IBEW 1049 who worked tirelessly through days of difficult conditions to safely clear 2,000+ fallen trees and limbs, restoring power to more than 128,000 customers. Everyone truly worked around the clock to get our neighborhoods back up and running safely and quickly. To our customers, thank YOU so much for the many kind words, outreach, coffee and donuts, and understanding that kept our crews going until the final job was done. Drop a comment to help us show our hardworking team some love! 💙
