It was a great blessing and privilege to play for Coach Amato! He created an environment filled with belief, unity, toughness, hard work, discipline, perseverance, and much more. I’m seeing a lot of what he instilled in us during those years at STATE being lived out by my PACK BROTHERS!
He has greatly impacted my life and consequently my children’s lives because of the great man and coach he was!
He will be missed!

Dave Doeren on how to fix NC State's issues:
"It's a choice. Guys have to choose to focus better. With today's youth, you see it across the country as you watch college football -- there's a lot of mistakes, and the attention spans have gotten worse and worse over the years."
Dave Doeren announces tight end Vander Ploog and offensive guard Yousef Mugharbil will miss the remainder of the season.
He says Kamen Smith, JoJo Trader, Duke Scott and Tristan Teasdell are day-to-day against Stanford.
