Wow - a Hillsborough Hero and a great guy who also wrote a fantastic foreword for my first book. He really went above and beyond in supporting me. Really sad to hear of his troubles but delighted he’s rebuilding his life.

Some of the best away days I ever did were at Scunthorpe, Doncaster and Derby County.
None came close to winning the FA Cup but I look back on them as fondly as ones at the big 6.

Off to Brentford today without much care for the result. The feelings couldn’t be more different from setting off this time exactly a year ago for a date with destiny!
Today was a terrible match and it was hard to find moments of joy.
However, watching a Bournemouth fan in his brown coat try to give it large and mock the HF for singing at 3-0 down, only to be told to sit down by his grandma was a rare highlight.
