Lovely Christmas lunch with the lab today! Pub was a nice improvement over the zoom party we had last year.

(2/3) Using super-resolution microscopy, we show that myosin does not always fully overlap with actin at the cell cortex, and that cortical tension scales with the extent of myosin penetration into the cortical actin network.

Back to in person lab meetings, with a beautiful autumn cake by the amazing @Ruby_Peters_ (with whom we also just received the proofs of a paper, more on this in due time!)
