How to Farm Easy Aura Points on @squeekchain 🐹 Since the mainnet launch of @squeekchain is getting closer, here is a quick guide on what to do to earn Aura points and increase your chances of getting whitelisted. The first and most important thing you should do is register on Squeekchain to be able to farm Aura in the next steps. Link to registration: squeekchain.com/genesis/i/aj… Then verify your wallet and connect your X account. Congrats, you've just received your first badge for registering! Also, if you held certain tokens like robinhood:0xacc8de336f5d2366fa7334383d8fab73499f582a or staked tokens like robinhood:0xe934e36a439c94017b64a3fece66af12099abf50 before the specified snapshot dates, you may be eligible for another 100 Aura points for each of them. The maximum you can get from holding and staking is 500 Aura, and trust me, that's really a lot and puts you ahead of a significant number of other participants. The second easy badge to collect is for connecting your Discord account. You can find the button at the top of the screen. After connecting your account, you'll receive another badge, and from this point, things get a bit more complicated. One important detail: your Discord account must be at least 365 days old to qualify for this badge. For the next badge, you'll need some ETH on Sepolia. You can get it for free from one of these faucets: sepolia-faucet.pk910.de/ faucet.quicknode.com/ethereu… faucets.chain.link/sepolia alchemy.com/faucets/ethereum… Just provide your wallet address and claim some free Sepolia ETH. The first faucet works through Proof of Work. It's especially useful because your wallet can be completely new or empty, while some other faucets require a small amount of ETH, previous wallet activity or additional verification. I personally got mine through the first one. After you've received your testnet ETH, go to this website: squeek.mfbrat.com/ At the bottom of the page, you'll find a button saying CONNECT WALLET & PING. Click it and confirm the transaction in your wallet after checking its details. This action should qualify you for another badge called The Tester. Keep in mind that the badge might take some time to appear because wallet activity is checked periodically. Also, make sure you're using the same wallet you verified on Squeekchain Genesis. And the last thing you can do is simply copy your invitation link and share it with your friends or post it on your socials so people can join through your link. For this, you can get 3 different badges (for 1, 5 and 25 friends joining). There's also another one called The Squeekfather, which you can get when people who joined through your invitation link invite their own friends. Once at least 3 of your invited friends earn The Invitooor badge by inviting someone themselves, you should qualify for The Squeekfather as well. Just like with Discord, there's also an age requirement for your X account. It must be at least 365 days old to qualify for the whitelist. Also, be careful with multi-accounting because duplicate accounts and abuse can get you removed from the leaderboard. Basically, that's it when it comes to earning the easiest Aura points. Of course, there are also other badges, but most of them require holding certain tokens earlier, building a project or contributing to the ecosystem in other ways. This month brought us a very interesting and unusual Web3 project, one that literally depends on an animal to keep running. I'm talking about Squeekchain. If you haven't heard of it, here's the idea: the founders took a hamster called Squeektoshi and built him a special running wheel equipped with magnets and sensors that track his activity. Sounds weird, right? Well, it gets even better. Squeekchain is an Ethereum-based smart contract protocol where the hamster's activity contributes to mining blocks. For every completed block, 6,900 SQK tokens are planned to be minted and distributed as rewards to eligible Squeek NFT holders until the maximum supply of 2.1 billion tokens is reached. This raises the question: How can I get one of these NFTs? The answer is simple - just farm Aura. First of all, go through this link squeekchain.com/genesis/i/aj…, sign up, connect your wallet and X account, and start earning badges by completing different activities. Just by completing these simple tasks, you can receive up to 300 Aura, which could put you ahead of a significant portion of participants. Every badge gives you Aura, and the rarer the badge, the more Aura it's worth. Your position on the leaderboard determines your chances of getting whitelisted for the Genesis NFT mint. And here's another important detail: the Genesis NFT collection is limited to just 9,999 NFTs. And if you make it onto the whitelist, you'll have the opportunity to mint a Squeek NFT and potentially earn SQK through the project's mining mechanism. You can also earn additional Aura by building projects and holding qualifying tokens. Some holder badges depend on earlier snapshots, so not every activity is available to new participants. The project is currently testing on Ethereum's Sepolia testnet, with its mainnet launch still ahead. We’ve reached the point where the OpenAI vs Anthropic race is causing way too many unnecessary arguments. It starts to feel more like Pepsi vs Coke or Ronaldo vs Messi. “Claude is better.” “Codex is better.” Like bro, chill out. First of all, in a couple of months both companies will probably release even newer models, and they’ll still be pretty close to each other anyway. Use whatever works best for you and stop trying to convince everyone else to use the same model just because you use it, or because it scored 1–2% higher on some benchmark.

Two frontier model drops in one day is already interesting, but the changes might be even more interesting. Today OpenAI released GPT-6 Sol + Luna, and Anthropic released Claude Opus 5.5. (Honorable mention to Grok 4.7, which launched yesterday.) For OpenAI, what caught my attention the most is the price difference, especially considering that the models also improved in capability. GPT-5.6 Sol -> GPT-6 Sol $4/$20 -> $2/$10 per 1M input/output tokens GPT-5.6 Luna -> GPT-6 Luna $0.20/$1.20 -> $0.10/$0.50 At the same time, OpenAI reports better performance in coding, agentic tasks and factuality. Anthropic also made a pretty big jump with Opus 5.5. It is around 20% cheaper per token, around 40% cheaper on typical workloads, and over 30% faster in output generation compared to Opus 5. The benchmark improvements are also noticeable: Terminal-Bench Opus 5: 52.3% Opus 5.5: 66.4% FrontierCode Opus 5: 48.0% Opus 5.5: 54.4% So right now we are getting more capable frontier models while the cost of actually using them is going down pretty fast. I’m testing GPT-6 Sol right now and so far I think it fits the Plus plan really well, especially in terms of speed and general usability. Can’t say much about intelligence yet though because I already hit the limits. I’ll have a much better idea tomorrow after I can test it properly. Pretty interesting day for AI.

It seems like Jev wasn’t even fully born before it already started dying. Just 4 days after Jev’s introduction, a Chinese team introduced its own self-hosted ML model that can be nearly 70× faster. Of course, that speed comes at a cost, around 57% accuracy compared with 78% for Jev in one benchmark, but privacy and no API cost can still make Laya a very attractive option. Especially considering that, for example, Laya performs better in typed business and agent-decision benchmarks. So which one would you choose?
