My biggest hangout with Thomas outside of his playstyle has been the cost. If he can actually be had for less than MHJ and they are just going to use him as a vertical player, I get it. I’ll be skeptical as hell until I see it though, as he is coming from a very similar offense

While it obviously takes another team willing to trade, my take is: Unless a big time WR trade is made, 49ers are not a SB team. Any thoughts of “But Evans and Stribling will be back!” is an outlier scenario that should be treated as unlikely, not as the expectation.

I just realized that in both of Buckners AP years (1st 2020, 2nd team 2019) he did not get Pro Bowl. He was a PBer in 2018 and 2021 though. Occasionally guys get AP without a PB, but you don’t usually see it twice, especially when they are known and previous PBers
