Tom has run one of the best statewide campaigns I can recall. Firing on all cylinders while playing error-free ball.
Regardless of what happens next Tuesday I’m legitimately shocked at how many times I have been contacted by conservative groups/campaigns.
AFP stopped by earlier this year. Had a Tiffany staffer over the summer. Recently had someone affiliated with the Assembly race in my area stop by. Just now had another Tiffany staffer stop by. Seemed he was making quick work though on an electric scooter.
All of this on top of at least two mailers weekly and an endless barrage of ads.
Did not have this type of reach out in 2024 and certainly not for the Governor’s race in 2022.

In presidential elections 160 million ballots are cast.
In a midterm, only ~100 million.
This is a base turnout operation. No one has a connection with his base like President Trump - not even Obama - and we are already seeing signs that his barnstorming the country is energizing Republicans.
Data points that currently are holding true:
Ground game works. We are chasing ballots @TPAction and banking low props.
We have lots of high props outstanding - we’re not seeing cannibalization through early vote
Indies and youth vote is significantly lower than modeled. This can change, but it hasn’t yet
We are seeing rurals and the base surging in key races (with GA and NC currently lagging)
We can defy the polls.

President Trump just played a TWO-MINUTE attack ad of Democrat James Talarico’s most radical views for his entire rally is Corpus Christi, Texas.
The entire place erupted into boos at the end of it.
Many people had already heard the “God is non-binary” line, but some of the others were quite shocking.
TALARICO: “Did they teach you in Sunday school that Jesus Christ himself was a radical feminist?”
“I want to acknowledge that our trans community needs abortion care too.”
“What would Jesus do if he visited the Texas legislature? I think he would tell us blessed are the trans children.”
“I always think of myself as a Christian, who hates Christianity.”
Trump let Talarico’s own words speak for themselves.
These are not messages that will go over well in Texas.
