For anyone with an interest in the paramedic profession and its development in the UK from 'ambulance attendants' to an esteemed healthcare profession with its own Royal College, I highly recommend reading 'The History of the Paramedic Profession – A Modern Success Story'. You'll probably know the authors (Bob Fellows, Graham Harris, Andy Newton) and 10% of any profit goes to @ParamedicsUK
