Crazy how little people of all ages know about practical stuff you can do with AI. STILL!
Was talking to bunch of gen z and they had no idea you could use AI to do half their day job
Even basic stuff like connecting it to spreadsheets
We're so early still
Is there a mac menu app that tells me the stuff everyone cares about w/ Claude & Codex?
Codexbar is too much! and also buggy af whenever ive tried it
For Claude
Per account % + w/ countdown
Per account API credits + countdown (bc its new🆕!!)
For Codex
Resets w/ exp date
Codex % + countdown
API Credits
TBH this is a prompt im launching now.
OpenAI: 30 days of updates or 30 resets
Most of it really meh so far
Claude is just doing it without saying it and shipping way more impressive stuff
$200/mo in api credits per Claude account is nice..
Monthly API credits are now available on Max and Team plans: $100 on Max 5x, $200 on Max 20x, and up to $500 pooled on Team. Use them on any Claude model.
How it works and full terms: support.claude.com/en/articl…
➕ N64 Super Mario
➕ Multiplayer
➕ In the Browser
This is getting ridiculous

Affleck sold his startup to Netflix for $586M & explains ai better than most.. so casual
Ben Affleck reveals he writes Python, understands convolutional neural networks, worked extensively with GPUs, and used his celebrity status to get private looks at Google and OpenAI’s video models
“I’ve always been kind of into computers since I was young. Then, when film started to move from analog film to digital, I became more interested in that aspect of it. The visual-effects workflow for many years has included machine learning, so I can write pretty shitty Python scripts and stuff like that.
“With convolutional neural networks, which were the precursors to what the transformer can do, which is much more computation simultaneously, you would do things like look at what’s called a tensor. That’s the numerical translation of a visual image in numbers, like the batch number, the frame number and the red, green and blue values of each pixel in each frame. It’s just that simple. That numeric is called a tensor.
“You’d use a convolutional neural network to identify patterns that reveal what’s called edge detection or feature extraction, which is identifying patterns well enough to know, this is where the window ledge is, so we can more easily take the green-screen image out and replace it with something.
“That was familiar to me early on because, prior to Artists Equity, I had a small visual-effects company. I’ve worked with GPUs a lot too. The visual-effects guys said, ‘Hey, you should see. There are a couple: Google and this other company, OpenAI, are doing really interesting stuff with transformers in video.’
“I’ve learned that I can actually just call up and go, ‘Hey, it’s Ben Affleck. Can I come see what you’re doing?’ Sometimes people say yes, to my astonishment.”
For those that are doing mobile dev, you can have Claude use Xcode to automate anything on your iPhone.
So you can plug in your phone, tell it to use Haiku because it'll reduce the cost significantly and increase the speed significantly.
And then it will go and do any given workflow for you. You can either have it go through an explorer mode where it can make its own decisions given a goal, or a specific set of steps.
My use case for it was instead of using Mobbin or manually going through updated apps and profiling the different UI/UX elements, it can go and map the entire app and trace through every single state, edge case, use case, build out the IA and the screenshot gallery for reference for future dynamic workflows to go implement.
Wild times. This workflow is something I came across this morning, and it's one of those things where I'm like, what the ****?
I used to spend so much time doing this myself, and it's truly awesome.
behind the scenes its using this thing called Appium and a WebDriverAgent.
You gotta have your Xcode developer account, then you turn auto-lock screen to never, go to general > vpn > trust and let it fly.
Pipeline is capture > name > map.
Itll then graph out the UI-UX. So it understands the shape of that graph for example..
A hub with spokes (snapchat) Tabs with a stack under each (most apps).
The output is a diagram with thumbnails at each node plus a short written summary. Idea is that you run it again on a timer, comparing the footprints.
That shows what's new or what's changed, because Xcode would allow you to dig deeper than traditional screenshotting,
so you can see absolutely everything, as well as passing gestures that flat screenshots can't capture
ChatGPT reads everyones bank accounts for FREE now.
The last FREE app that did that had 20 million users & was paid for by the offers it showed them.
- Oct 2: ChatGPT Finances opens to Free & Go users in the US
- Plaid links 12,000+ banks, cards & brokerages. Experian adds your credit score
- Free & Go are also the two plans with ads
- Mint ran free from 2006 to 2024 on referral fees
Who pays for this one?
My take: the tool is good.
Read-only, a soft credit check, real deletion.
For anyone budgeting in a spreadsheet, it's an upgrade.
The catch: free money apps have been paid for by the offers they show you since 2008.
This time the app is also the thing you ask for advice.
The thing to watch is the first lender ad next to a Finances chat.
OpenAI's published ad rules don't exclude it.
