I appreciate our first responders who pass out treats, auxiliary police who make sure pedestrians cross streets safely, businesses that participate, Polish Village volunteers who decorate and, of course, Ward 2 Councilwoman Debbie Lime who coordinates the annual Treat and Greet.

Every October, I enjoy attending Polish Village’s Treat and Greet. The weather was perfect for the children and adults who donned costumes seeking treats from the participating local businesses, as well as our police in the pocket park. Even Rosco wore a costume. #treatandgreet

I am excited about the official opening of the new Creek to Creek Neighborhood Greenway. It’s another example of partnerships making progress in our communities. Bring your bikes 10 a.m., Oct. 31, and ride the new Greenway. It’s a fun way to start Halloween. #BikeCommunity
