CD Projekt Red says that rather than re-telling V and Johnny's story in the live-action Cyberpunk 2077 movie, they will tell a new story within the same universe. bit.ly/4i0yW0z

My goal is to one day work on a Del Toro film. I love everything he’s ever done and his steadfast dedication to practical effects and real artists is exactly the kind of thing we need people in his position to be doing. I hope he has many more films to come!
Legendary Director and Filmmaker Guillermo del Toro Celebrates 62! 🎂🎬
Few filmmakers see monsters quite like Guillermo del Toro. Through Pan’s Labyrinth, Pacific Rim, H*llboy, and The Shape of Water, he has built worlds where creatures can be frightening, beautiful, tragic, and deeply human often giving the supposed monsters more heart than the people surrounding them.
His lifelong love of animation reached another milestone with Guillermo del Toro’s Pinocchio, which earned the Academy Award for Best Animated Feature and brought his unmistakable imagination into stop-motion.
Some of his most celebrated works include:
• Pan’s Labyrinth — Director / Writer / Producer
• Pacific Rim — Director / Writer / Producer
• H*llboy* / H*llboy II: The Golden Army — Director / Writer
• Guillermo del Toro’s Pinocchio — Co-director / Writer / Producer
• Blade II — Director
Happy 62nd birthday, Guillermo del Toro! Thank you for reminding audiences that monsters can have souls, fairy tales can have teeth, and even the darkest worlds can still hold something beautiful. 🎂🎬❤️

Having long been aware of those tech bros who read my work as utopian porn, where they’ve taken that doesn’t exactly surprise me.

Guillermo del Toro: “Be very angry about how the world is being fucked, how your craft is being pulled away from you, how people are trying to move you away from the arts and tell you they’re not important. Be angry that things are being controlled by socially barely functional people that have a lot of money. Be angry about something. Be enraged about something” (Video: anakinspadawan / TikTok)

First blaster of the current batch is finished. This is what I’m calling the ‘true’ version of Deckard’s PKD. Much closer to the screen version, it has a darker, blackened steel colour.
As usual, 3D printed and painted by me.
Available now, made to order on my Etsy store.

The way people are suddenly shitting themselves about AI is the way they should have been shitting themselves about climate change for the last 40’years.
Almost like people have no interest in buying something that no one cared enough about to do properly
