Some people are saying "Christ is still king" and "Jesus is still on His throne" like those are comforting facts to a nation in rebellion against Him. Kiss the Son, lest He be angry. We must not just honor Him with our lips. We must repent and do what He says.

Imagine if team Trump hadn’t invested those hundreds of millions of dollars into unseating @RepThomasMassie, and had instead just admitted he was right. That’s basically what The Vice President is saying here in a nutshell. Massie was right. I suspect yesterday would have gone much differently if they had done that.
One of the things the data analysts on our side obsessed over was "composition"—whether the electorate looked close enough to 2024 for Republicans to win. And despite polls that showed a Democrat blowout, the data kept on telling us the same story: in some states turnout was merely OK, in other states it was downright amazing, and in no state was it catastrophic. There was a genuine sense of optimism on our team: our people were showing up. So, I asked the smartest data guy I know, does that mean we're going to shock the world? "No," he told me. "We might do better than the polls suggest. But the data is telling us that a lot of Trump/Vance 2024 voters are pissed and planning to vote for the other guys. Our voters are turning out, but they may not vote for us." Well, that looks prophetic now. Our voters did show up. In Florida, for example, the electorate was 9 points more Republican than Democrat, just a couple points worse than 2024. Undoubtedly there were places we could have done better on turnout. But the main problem is not turnout. The main problem is that many people who voted for Trump/Vance in 2024 voted for Democrats in 2026. There will be a lot of infighting and arguing over what happened and why that is. One of the pollsters I really respect told me that our economic messaging wasn’t sharp enough down the stretch. I’m sure that’s true. But the real reason we lost is obvious to almost everyone. Another pollster—one of the smartest people I know in politics, told me yesterday we’d lose the generic ballot by 13 points. I felt negative going into Tuesday, but even I was shocked by this. In his polling, he saw that a lot of Trump 2024 voters were angry and planning to vote for Democrats. He asked those voters who had abandoned us what would cause them to come back on our team. The top four answers, accounting for nearly all of the responses were: 1) End the war 2) Focus on cost of living/inflation 3) Put America First 4) Change our relationship to Israel Our voters showed up. And the above four reasons are why many of them voted for Democrats. This is according to a pollster who nailed the results. While many spent Monday attacking Rachel Campos Duffy for calling for a diplomatic resolution to the conflict, it turns out her political advice was sound. (She’s also a great person.) In the next few months, there's going to be a lot of gaslighting. Expect to hear any number of establishment politicians say the solution to our woes is amnesty. I'm open to the idea that we should change enforcement—by focusing more on businesses that hire illegal labor, for instance. But anyone pushing amnesty is lying to you. The reason we lost is the war. The president himself said so last night. If you'd like to argue it was worth it, that losing the Senate for the next 6 years was worth it, then do so. Argue it was a worthwhile cost to pay. Agree or disagree, that's at least honest. But everyone knows why we lost. And any honest conversation about where we go from here must start there. I remain hopeful about our country. To the people who are pissed off and want to say, “I told you so”: you’re right, you did tell us so. Take that energy into electing Republicans who share your worldview. To the people who are just pissed at the results, you should be. Let’s take that anger and get back to the work of saving our country.

Good word.
Don’t vote for the Chaldeans to stick it to the Right. Some great things are happening at the federal level and some not so great. Critics on the Right point to another Middle Eastern war, a slow start on mass deportations, failure to implement most of the proposed DOGE cuts, and wink-and-nod immorality. Much of that is true. We are a nation that has forgotten God—wanton immorality, fiscal recklessness, failure to prioritize our own citizens—and compromising rulers can already be part of that judgment. This administration is the best in recent memory, and there is room for improvement. But we do not answer the left by becoming or empowering the left. Where your conscience is torn, consider Habakkuk. God raised up the Chaldeans, that bitter and hasty nation, and they did to Israel what invaders do—seized homes, crushed the people, left ruin behind them. If Israel had been handed a ballot, casting it for the Chaldeans would have been wicked, because of what it would mean for their children, their worship, and their countrymen. Judgment on your nation does not license you to vote in the destroyers. Now look at the God-hating left. You may think I exaggerate by calling them Chaldeans. I do not. Democrats have told us how they mean to destroy us and our kids—open borders, packed courts, abolish the Electoral College, add DC and Puerto Rico, permanent one-party rule, prenatal homicide on demand, persecute Christians, jail their political enemies. They celebrated when Charlie Kirk was murdered. They are the Chaldeans. There is no “punish Republicans and get our guy next time.” If they achieve half of what they propose, there will not be a next time. So vote with the options you have. Do not vote for the Chaldeans. And while you vote, plead with God for the repentance of this nation and of its rulers—not because every Republican deserves applause, but because handing America to the Chaldeans would be far worse. Why is this so true…..
We’ve gone from cringey pastors talking about their “smokin hot wife” to cringey pastors talking about their “super white wife.” The more things change…

Big win last night in South Carolina! Oconee County just became the first county in the state to BAN mass surveillance systems like Flock cameras. Special thanks to Council member @MattdurhamOC, who led the fight to make it happen!

I got a better program that will be easier to execute with minimal fraud. Let husbands keep their paychecks.
🚨 BREAKING: The Trump administration is reportedly drafting a plan pushed by JD Vance to give federal child care funds to married couples with a STAY-AT-HOME SPOUSE while the other parent works — NYT The program could be $9K per year for these families The goal: make it easier for married Americans to let one parent take care of the children, rather than both work and pay others to take care of the children This could create an incentive for parents to "stay at home with their children" Apparently, this is similar to a MARCO RUBIO proposal when he was Senator 👀 It sounds like this would be under current federal programs, not new laws passed by Congress

There are many good brothers and sisters at Prays Mill Baptist Church. The sins of their elders have filled our news feed over the last several days, and in light of the grievous actions of such public men it can be easy to forget that behind all of that is a church full of godly saints, who love the Lord, who aren’t guilty of the sins of their elders, and who are now left to figure out what their next steps ought to be. Take some time this evening to pray for the brothers and sisters at Prays Mill Church. This is a truly good church, which some truly godly members. May the Lord help them in this time of hardship.

900+ PETITIONS DELIVERED! 📷 Indiana activist @ashleyMSNRN attempted to deliver more than 900 petitions, 650 on behalf of Liberty Action, and more than 250 on behalf of her own organization, calling on Fort Wayne City Councilman Russ Jehl to vote NO on extending or expanding the city’s Flock camera contract. This happened while Councilman Jehl was walking around the Fort Wayne GOP Picnic asking people for their thoughts on Flock Cameras. You'd think if Councilman Jehl truly wanted to know what people think about Flock cameras, he'd be happy to receive more than 900 petitions directly from Fort Wayne citizens, making it clear they do not want Flock cameras. The fact is Fort Wayne citizens are sending a clear message: No More surveillance state in Fort Wayne! Thank you to Ashley and every citizen who stood up for privacy and liberty. Councilman Russ Jehl: Listen to the people. Vote NO. 📷 #FortWayne #DeFlock

Excellent.
Loser theology is always Good Friday but never Easter. Hebrews 12:2 says Jesus is “the founder and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is seated at the right hand of the throne of God.” The cross was necessary, but the ultimate destination was eternal joy and divine glory.

My opponent wants to mutilate children, and he wants you to call it compassion. A far Left Democrat is currently running for my seat, and he has made his position clear: He supports using your tax dollars to chemically and surgically mutilate Kentucky’s children. Listen to what he said at his campaign kickoff. My opponent is defending the chemical castration and surgical alteration of kids who cannot even drive a car, vote, or get a tattoo.  Puberty blockers and cross sex hormones disrupt normal development and carry the risk of sterility, sexual dysfunction, and lifelong medical problems. This path leads to surgeries that remove healthy body parts from children who have no capacity to consent to consequences that will follow them for the rest of their lives. My opponent wants the state involved. He wants your tax dollars to pay for these grotesque crimes against children.  This is the radical agenda he would take to Frankfort if we let him.   I will not stand by while politicians treat Kentucky children as science experiments. Protecting kids from irreversible harm is not extreme. It is the bare minimum adults owe the next generation.  The ideology my opponent promotes has no place in our society. As your Representative, I stood against using Medicaid to fund these interventions, and we won.  I supported legislation that prevents inmates from using tax dollars for these perverted procedures, and we won.  Even before taking office, I supported legislation that totally bans the gender mutilation of minors, and we won! I have worked to keep this radical ideology out of our schools and out of our laws because protecting children from irreversible harm is not optional. It is a basic duty.
