Our young people were invited to join @NYSE for the closing bell ceremony yesterday, with each ring of the bell highlighting the resilience of youth experiencing homelessness in NYC. #NYSE #ClosingBell #CovenantHouseNY
Today, I visited @MarbleChurch to talk about @CovenantHouseNY and thank them for the grant they awarded us through their Easter Offering. To my surprise, I got to meet Dr. Ernestine Galloway, who was the director of children's education at @ConcordBrooklyn -- back in the 1950s.
Took a break from my protective style and decided to let my fro glow for the new year. Tried the LOC method using #DonnasRecipe by @IamTabithaBrown. The smell was giving grandma’s sweet potato pie…and the coils were giving…”like so, like that.” #VeryGood

The spirit and resilience of youth @CovenantHouseNY is something to behold.
If you're in the midtown area, stop by Duffy Square (in front of the big red steps in Times Square). Tonight, we are holding it down for homeless youth at our annual Candlelight Vigil!

Last night, we provided shelter to 30 young asylum seekers. This number is expected to grow as new young people impacted by the migrant crisis learn about CHNY. Looking for a way to support? Email [email protected] for next steps on 3 direct ways to give back.
Friends, @CovenantHouseNY has become home to many immigrant youth experiencing homelessness and seeking asylum in NYC. We are currently in need of books written in Spanish (Libros en espanol) to help us expand our library to better serve our Spanish speaking youth.
If “we got us” was a person… Yes, @dawnstaley!!!
This is what it means to be an ally. No, this didn’t happen to a SC player, but Black is Black and if don’t nobody else got us, WE GOT US!! ✊🏾
Now, let’s see who else will have to courage to take the same stand.
Last night was PROM NIGHT at @CovenantHouseNY !! It was indeed a “Galactic Night Under The Stars” where we celebrated the resilience, expression, and 🏳️🌈PRIDE 🏳️🌈 of our LGBTQ youth, staff, and allies!! #CHNY #UnconditionalLove #CovUnity
