Please join us in welcoming our new Program Manager for our Community Services group Abby Wilkinson!
Suzanne Rivard is our Financial Assistant focused on Accounts Payable in our Business Services Group. She has been with PathWays 10 years. Besides her role, Suzi is also known to clean up throughout the office and tell funny stories! Here is a little information about her:
Every year we have had one snapping turtle lay their eggs near our parking lot and this year we have two that were spotted the other morning!
Bar Harbor Bank & Trust recognizes the important work being done by Pathways to support those with disabilities by coordinating services as well as providing a variety of direct services. We are pleased to make a donation of $1,000 to help with the renovation project
Mark Mills, Chief Executive Officer, was pleased to accept a check for $15,000 from Dan O’Brien of Dan O'Brien Subaru on Friday. PathWays is proud to be selected as their Home Town Charity in the Subaru “Share the Love” event for the second straight year.
I got into human services as I’m a people person and I find it to be fulfilling to be able to help people. I’m a positive person and always want to pass good vibes on to anyone I meet - this world needs more good!! I have a 13 year old daughter and she is the absolute best!
Nicole Tenney, Early Childhood Educator
I have been working in ESS as an Early Childhood Educator for almost 4 years and I absolutely love it! It is hard not to smile when you are supporting infants and toddlers during your day. Children are natural learners and explorers.
Jean Smith, Occupational Therapist
I have been working with Pathways ESS for 20 years. I love the challenge of working with children and their families and the opportunity to help support the children's development during a critical time of their development.
Cathy Shidlovsky, Speech Pathologist
For me, working in Early Intervention is a joy and it is an honor when families allow me to be a partner in addressing their child's development: helping each family with the tools, skills and confidence to promote their child's growth.
Courtney McAuliffe, Administrative Assistant and Para educator
I started working with Pathways in August of 2020. I love working with children. There is nothing more special than watching children grow physically, emotionally, socially and mentally.
Rachel Gerber, Speech Pathologist
I’ve worked in early childhood for 14 years and in Early Intervention with Pathways for just under two years. I love helping children learn the power of communication.
Caroline Dupere, Occupational Therapist
I have been a part of the Pathways Family Centered Early Supports and Services team for 6 years. I enjoy building a relationship and helping them navigate the development of their baby or toddler.
Michelle Beaton, Physical Therapist
I have been working with FCESS at Pathways for a year and a half. I love working closely with families to support the development of their child during the early years of life
Heather Murphy-Hicks, Director of Early Supports & Services
I've worked in early childhood education for 25+ years and 14 in early intervention at Pathways. It's important to me as the Director of the program that I maintain a caseload to still be able to directly work with kids
This Week is Teacher Appreciation Week and we wanted everyone to know who makes up the whole Early Supports and Services (ESS) Team. Along with Heather, Nicole and Courtney, we have several contractors that round out the team in assisting families and little ones.
Teresa has been with PathWays for almost 14 years! She loves having two monitors at her desk as she believes it is a definite time saver. She enjoys working with the individuals we serve and has missed that interaction since COVID started.
Penny joined PathWays in September last year and has made a huge impact already. Some of you may have noticed Penny’s decorating skills for the various seasons at 654 Main! Penny is proud of being able to learn and perform her job duties well even with obstacles such as COVID.
Tracy joined the HR team in August of 2020 and is seen her in Venice, Italy on a trip she took a few years ago. She finds the connecting and speaking with current staff, potential new hires fulfilling as well as our morning chats that sometimes last a little too long!
Kerry has been with PathWays for almost 18 years and has worked in Administration and BSG as well as one of our residential homes in Riverdale for a long time. This is a picture of Kerry on a trip to Boston (if you could not guess!).
