Today we had Scottish Fire and Rescue in talking with our youth about Firework Safety. 馃巼 This was arranged by our colleagues @PSOSLanarkshire and is part of operation Moonbeam. Amazing effort all round 馃ぉ #PartnershipWoking

This morning you could have heard a pin drop. 馃Х 馃搶 Focus was 100% in the computer suite for our youth, some working on CV鈥檚, some working on Personal Statements and those that attend Verdancy were working on their required qualification work. @VerdancyGroup

Our groups have been learning about appropriate workplace behaviours and ways to deal with conflict.
This will help prepare the groups on what is expected in the work place and how to deal with conflict in a professional manner. #PositiveVibes #ReadyToWork

Our youth interested in Early Years completed 4weeks of child development, then started their phased nursery placements and have been doing amazing. 馃ぉ馃ぉ馃檶馃檶. #creativelearning @nlcpeople

We had our Early Careers Team out talking with our youth about Summer Placements and Modern Apprenticeships. A very useful session with loads of interesting information. 馃憤馃ぉ #WorkingTogether @nlcpeople

We had @PSOSLanarkshire out talking with us, this was a collaboration of what their partners had delivered over the last few weeks, but also creating positive relationships with the Police. A very inspiring session which led to a lot of questions and discussions. 馃檶馃徎
Pathways youth have been working extremely hard at @VerdancyGroup experiencing the process of retrofitting - learning about different types of insulation, air tightness and heat retention within buildings @nlcpeople

We had the privilege of having Graeme Armstrong talking with our group鈥檚 about gang culture and how he turned his life around. This was really inspiring and insightful for our youth and all possible through our colleagues @CAPinScotland 馃ぉ

Our youth are smashing it out the park, already passing their first Bricklaying assessment and some already passing their first part of Carpentry and Bench joinery. #hardworkpays @FirstStepsFT

This week our youth had @BarnardosScot out to chat with them about Drugs, Alcohol and Harm Reduction. They found it very interesting and informative. This is organised through working with with our colleagues @PSOSLanarkshire 馃檶馃徎馃檶馃徎馃ぉ

Today we had the Educational Psychologists in speaking with the group about the importance of sleep and what things impact it. The group responded well and were very receptive to suggestions for better sleeping habits moving forward 馃檶馃徎馃檶馃徎
