Met bodycam: officers opening parcels and pulling out box after box of banned machetes and zombie knives. You can hear them counting — 18 a box, then four boxes, five boxes. Their faces say it all. “Jesus Christ.”
These were being delivered to an 11-bedroom HMO in London. Not a warehouse. A residential address.
This is the absolute state of the country. Weapons like this shipping in and landing on ordinary streets while normal people are just trying to get on with their lives. We shouldn’t have to live like this.

Interesting to look at this latest Markle scandal in context. 2019 was a busy year for the sussexes.
•Jan 2019 – Harry and Meghan Markle revealed she was six months pregnant
•Feb 2019 – Meghan travelled to New York City for a $200,00 baby shower, while The Mail on Sunday published excerpts of her Dear Daddy pulling at heartstrings letter she wrote to her father. Harry instructs their PA: we must not be seen to be involved in having written this letter.
•March 2019 – Buckingham Palace approved a separate household for Harry and Meghan. They’re given a budget and new lodgings.
•May 6, 2019 – The couple welcomed their first child, Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor.
•Spring / Summer 2019 – Harry and Meghan moved out of Kensington Palace to Frogmore Cottage in Windsor and announced their departure from the Royal Foundation to launch their own organisation, Sussex Royal.
•September 27, 2019 (Legal Action) – Prince Harry filed individual claims against News Group Newspapers (publisher of The Sun) and Mirror Group Newspapers (publisher of the Daily Mirror).
