No review of recognition. No leverage. Just “deep regret” from foreign ministers and a pivot to Gaza aid. The PA has now broken the core condition Carney used to justify the move, and his response treats it as just another unfortunate fact of life rather than a failure of his own policy. And no mention about the $100M cheque he sent them on September 22 Conditions that carry no cost when they’re ignored aren’t conditions—they’re political cover. You can almost hear him saying "Thank you. Thank you, Diana. I'm aware. Which is why we have an arms embargo" like last time. @MarkJCarney
