Just decided not to renew one of my longest subscriptions. @jetbrains I've loved your products for many years. All Products Pack subscriber since 2012. I learned Ruby, JavaScript, Python, TypeScript with your IDEs. I now rarely open any code file.

I've dismissed this banner everyday since I hit 80% storage (2 months ago). At this pace (+1% storage every 2 months), I'll have at least 3 MORE YEARS of dismissing this CTA daily across every @Google Product before I run out of space. Good times.

My understanding was the maintainers wanted to reduce burden on GitHub’s bandwidth. Not that the feature was hard to build.

Encouraged someone who was pretty skeptical to GitHub Copilot recently. Told him to use it for a month and I'd pay for it. Two weeks in: "I couldn't imagine not using Copilot at this point ... I put in a blank line and somehow it just knows what I want!"

Recently enabled GitHub Copilot for everybody on my team and was pleasantly surprised that GitHub cancelled my personal membership and refunded the prorated amount without any additional action from me.

I've been using type-hinting as part of prompt engineering with GPT-3.5 and GPT-4 with great success (results more consistently returned in JSON without extra text). Looking forward to trying out TypeChat to see if it makes the process easier. microsoft.github.io/TypeChat…

Road-tripped in the Model Y along with a non-Tesla SUV. The people in the other SUV complained of a rotten eggs smell (maybe sulfur?) near our AirBnB. Next day they were riding in the Tesla and couldn’t smell a thing. Kind of cool lightbulb moment for all 8 of us. 👍🏼
