Crystal Upscaler is now the fastest upscaler in the world
Upscaling a 4K image only takes 0.17 seconds on a GPU
I cut the upscaling time by 96%. That’s 30x faster
Image: before → now:
4K: 4.53 s → 0.17 s
8K: 17.6 s → 0.60 s
10K: 30.5 s → 1.06 s
So the real bottleneck is now the file handling because it’s slower than the actual upscaling 😂
Crystal Video Upscaler is also 20x faster
A 5-second 4K upscale took 5.4 minutes. Now it takes 17 seconds
Upscaling a video to 1080p takes less than a second per second of video now
So we reached real-time upscaling 🤩
