Dem don win U20 World Cup before. We have just played in finals. But we have more trophies at U17 than them including the inaugural one in China in 1985.
After service one Sunday, I took my family to buy lunch as The Place in Ilorin.
Normally, they would stay in the car while I got the food as take out.
At that time, The Place still had a sitting area downstairs and there, in this sitting area, was my ex and her husband. Incidentally, he is my Dad's cousin, so we're from the same family. Immediately he saw me walk in, he asked after my family and insisted on seeing my wife and kids and paying for all our food.
My ex got up too and met my wife and asked a bunch of questions about her work and all.
The drive home after that was uncomfortable and icy.
The quarrel from that encounter lasted 2 whole days.
I still don't know what I did wrong till this day but I have never stopped praying that my ex and her husband would never meet us on such family outings again.
Thanks to @Dukesdelightful for my wife's birthday cake which she delivered at really short notice.
Kaosara always delivers for me. She even added meatpies as a gift to her, which my Madam used to do me ntor last night.
I visited Stephen yesterday. He's doing a lot better.
The ischaemic stroke affected his speech center so even though he understands what one is saying, he is unable to communicate effectively. He is experiencing a lot of frustration with not being able to communicate effectively but he has started to say some basic things.
He was trying to wish my wife a happy birthday in this video but something else came out.
We continue to pray for him and support him in his trying time.
He will overcome.

This happened to one of my bosses at Abuja Continental last year. He lost 2 laptops- a MacBook and a Lenovo ThinkPad.
These guys just walk in as if they're fellow participants or invitees and wait for vulnerable moments such as during lunch or tea break to steal from participants.
Please take care of your valuables when you're in such events.
URGENT PUBLIC APPEAL
I never imagined having to make a post like this, but I desperately need your help.
On October 31, while covering a wedding at Oriental Hotel, Lagos, my bag was stolen from inside the bride's room.
The bag contained my MacBook Pro M1 and
FOUR external hard drives holding approximately FIVE weddings yet to be delivered to my clients.
These are not just files. They are people's once in a lifetime memories, months of hard work and my livelihood.
Thankfully, we have obtained CCTV footage showing the individual entering, taking my bag and leaving the hotel.
I'm offering a N500,000 REWARD for credible information leading to the identification of this individual and recovery of my belongings through the appropriate authorities.
