i’ve read books with male protagonists all my life. if boys are incapable of reading a book with a female protagonist then i think that’s the real problem that needs to be addressed.

I miss when VAs actually played with their voices to change it’s pitch and inflections, to actually PLAY a character. This is my big issue with modern dubs for the past several years, it’s a combination of bad direction and poor casting. “Dekufication”, per say.

Their reasoning for removing the Mario paintings makes sense. I don’t really like it when Nintendo games imply an interconnected universe outside of Smash, especially not Zelda. But replacing them with a tapestry that depicts the entire game’s story is objectively worse
