TCGs are just too cool right now.
Cyberpunk is dropping their insane story-based OP thing this week. I'm prepping for GA Ascent Osaka and excited for so much Pantheon. SWU already spoiling Icons and prepping for SW 50th. And even in indie games - I can't stop thinking about VARZ decks to try. And I have to schedule a livestream to open some SWU Carbonite boxes and Haikyuu!! AND I have some really exciting emails recently about even more cool content for you all!!! 👀
All that - and I'm not even playing Riftbound, man. There's so much good stuff going on that no single person can really experience all of it. We live in such a blessed time for the genre. Nice to take a step back and enjoy it all for what it is sometimes. 😅

Finally back home. No travel till RC Stuttgart. The first time in a long time I'm actually spending a full month in my home country without flying out for events.
I love this lifestyle. Travel to compete. Meet new ppl. Try new stuff see new places. Go home. Rinse and repeat.

My season 1 Riftbound Regional recap:
RQ Lille: 343th (5-2-1) - Draven
RQ Sydney: 84th (9-4) - Annie
RQ Barcelona: 37th (10-2-1) - Kennen
RQ Singapore: 5th (11-2-1) - Kennen
RQ Los Angeles: 411th (5-2-1) - Kennen
Took awhile to get my engine restarted from my prime Yu-Gi-Oh days, but after awhile I truly felt at home playing live. We did pretty good this year spiking a top 8 on home soil.
Putting names to faces from the years of being in the online ccg scene as we finally left our houses to meet irl was also a treat.
Meeting and hanging out with old and new local tcg buddies, seeing them more than I see family was also not on my bingo card, but hilariously enjoyable.
Can't wait to play in both Regional championships later this year!
