The best cover version of a song I’ve ever heard ‘so far’ is Jimi Hendrix’s version of Dylan’s Along The Watchtower. Haven’t hear anything that tops that. Although there are a few great versions of artists covering songs. Nothing has came close to that imho. Has anyone heard a cover that is up there like that? Px

I think covering a song is one thing and a nod of respect to the original maker but performing the composition in a completely different interpretation is an artist. More so if it sounds like they have created the song themselves. Love that shit man. Px
