okay one thing I can say with confidence is truly nobody thought the guy who owned the 140 character company would also be the guy that built the flying cars
it’s clear we need to retire the term vibe coding because the models now produce better architecture & way more coherent code than an average software engineer.
perhaps even better than top software engineers too because unlike a human, ai has a much much larger context window.
this ain’t vibe coding at all. it’s precision engineering.
If you're stuck at "AI is just another tool", you're making a category error. This is not "same computer, but better". It's far more akin to hiring a bunch of extremely intelligent and capable coworkers with whom you might occasionally disagree.

I honestly don’t care at all that I spend 30 years of my life learning syntax and now that knowledge is essentially useless.
Frankly, I’m relieved that I don’t need to care about it anymore. That stuff never really mattered anyways. Code was always just a means to an end.
All I care about is building products that users love. Now I can do that faster. That means I can have bigger impact.
If anything, software engineers should all be celebrating. I don’t understand why you’d “mourn” not needing to write code. The code was never the point.
to build a cool product now, you really only need two ppl:
one dude with exceptional vision & taste who knows what should exist & can provide the right feedback loops for iteration.
& one dude who is absolutely relentless about making it real no matter what.
that’s it. & sometimes these two are the same.

When God decides you’re ready for more
He will:
Separate you
Break you
Test you
Refine you
And then rebuild you.
You are not being punished
You’re being prepared.

The most dangerous person in the age of AI is someone who was mediocre at coding but has taste, and can now build anything

I noticed early that the brightest ones were often the most cold, and i didn't understand that for a long time. i thought intelligence was supposed to make you good, but it doesn't. it just makes you capable, and capable without something to kneel to is scarier than stupid ever was. the serpent was the cleverest animal in the garden, not the strongest, not the largest, the cleverest, and that is where the fall came from, not through ignorance, through the cold precision of a mind that could see through everything except its own hunger

whoever said bread and circuses were bad neglected to consider what if the circuses were really fucking cool

Solomon had a thousand wives and still looked over the wall. this is the only thing you need to know about desire. a man who thinks he will find satisfaction by getting more of what he wants is a man who does not understand what want is. want is not a hole you fill, want is a muscle that grows stronger every time you use it. the men who knew this turned their eyes inward and built kingdoms out of the same force that would have destroyed them. the men who didn't know this built harems that became prisons and died inside them, surrounded by flesh and starving for something flesh was never going to give them.

God is very intentional. Nothing about your life is random. Not the delays, not the detours, not even the waiting. He knows exactly what He’s doing. Please learn to trust him more this year.
