A 16% reduction in ASB in the @northumbriapol area. I’m pleased to see this but we won’t stop our work to prevent crime and ASB. Thanks to councils, @My_Metro , housing associations, @Tyne_Wear_FRS, @NlandFRS and of course Northumbria Police for coming together to tackle ASB.

We are condemning attacks on police and firefighters in Newcastle which have left an officer injured and resulted in emergency service vehicles being damaged.
Such behaviour is completely unacceptable and will not be tolerated – and those responsible will be brought to justice.
