In April, @RepMikeLawler and I introduced a bipartisan resolution condemning antisemitic rhetoric from online personalities like Hasan Piker and Candace Owens. Piker just proved exactly why we need it.
Telling millions of Americans that Jews who support the US-Israel relationship bring violence on themselves is sick, wrong, and straight out of the Nazi playbook. Republican leadership should to bring our resolution to the floor for a vote next week!

Hasan Piker has been trafficking in antisemitic tropes for a while but even this is a new low. Blaming Jewish Americans for the violence and hate they’re facing is not just wrong, it provides an excuse to those perpetuating these anti-Jewish hate crimes.
Let me be absolutely clear: crimes against Jews for being Jews is antisemitism plain and simple. There’s no excuse for it.

Hasan Piker’s dangerous and hateful language targeting Jewish Americans has no place in our civic discourse. Suggesting that Jewish Americans bear responsibility for hatred or violence directed against them is wrong, dangerous, and antisemitic.
We can, and should, argue fiercely over policy. We should have meaningful dialogue and debate about the policies and actions of the Israeli government and American foreign policy. That is the lifeblood of democracy. But that’s not what this is.
No American should be told that their political beliefs make them responsible for hatred or violence directed against them. There is a bright line between vigorous debate and rhetoric that stokes hatred toward our neighbors. Mr. Piker has crossed that line, repeatedly and unmistakably.

The extremes of American politics love to blame Jews for antisemitism rather than the antisemites themselves.
Let me put it plainly: there is absolutely no justification for antisemitism. There never has been, and there never will be.
No amount of victim-blaming or gaslighting by Hasan Piker can shift moral responsibility away from where it belongs: the antisemites who commit acts of violence and terror against Jews.
The following countries get >40% of electricity from clean sources with no nuclear:
🇩🇪 Germany
🇮🇹 Italy
🇦🇺 Australia
🇨🇱 Chile
🇵🇹 Portugal
🇬🇷 Greece
🇮🇪 Ireland
🇩🇰 Denmark
Before you say "but hydro!", >25% of electricity in each country is "unreliable" wind+solar.
Renewable energy (wind & solar) 2025:
Netherlands — 46%
Germany — 45%
Portugal — 44%
Ireland — 43%
Greece — 43%
Spain — 42%
United Kingdom — 36%
Belgium — 33%
Croatia — 30%
Hungary — 29%
North Macedonia — 27%
I think people who repeat tired talking points like "Asia's electricity is all from fossil fuels" and "The US is dependent on gas" will have to be reminded how wrong they were on the transition when China, Japan, Korea and the US get more power from clean sources than fossil.
So far in 2026, countries in purple both attacked and were attacked by others. Countries in blue only attacked without their own territory being attacked, countries in red only got attacked. Yellow countries only attacked themselves.
It isn't even March yet.

A year ago, the Western world was stunned when DeepSeek released its R1 model.
Chinese AI is going to stun the world again. Only the next time, it won't be at chatbot. It will be AI-powered robotics.

I don't think we'll know anything for sure until noon EST tomorrow.
States making most of their electricity from something other than fossil fuels:
Vermont
S Dakota
Washington
Idaho
Kansas
Iowa
Oregon
Montana
New Mexico
Guess what else they all have in common? Renewables make >50% of their electricity. Just 2 have nuclear.
No nuclear needed!
Places where renewables make more power than nuclear:
The above states
California
Texas
New York
New England
Minnesota
Nebraska
Soon: Florida
All of those places have nuclear plants, by the way.

Very sorry about this mistake. The following tweet explains what happened. We only discovered this problem today and quickly worked to fix it. The tweet explains what happened. xitter.cf/TwitchSupport/status/1…

No, U.S. sanctions didn't wreck Venezuela's economy.
Chavez and Maduro wrecked it, by meddling with the state-owned oil company, by nationalizing businesses, and by implementing an insane regime of price controls.
