Today I ran the JFK 50 in 8 hours and 21 minutes, setting a new PR in the 50 mile distance by over an hour and finishing fifth in my age group. Pretty epic day.

I ran (mostly) pain free for the first time in seven weeks. The pace was a bit slow and my HR was comically high, but starting over is never easy. Just got to keep showing up, ready to do the work.
