Wenjun Xue (Lead), Liz Harmon (Second), Amy Glanzer (Vice), and Karyn Drombosky (Skip) visited the Utica Curling Club last weekend to participate in the GNCC Women's Championship! The team secured 4th place after a close bronze medal game. They had lots of fun on and off the ice!

Since we all set our clocks back yesterday, let’s talk about time. In 1989, the International Curling Federation integrated the Women’s World Championship with the Men’s. With this doubling of game activity, organizers worried that games could drag on to unmanageable lengths.
“Thinking Time'' clocks proved to be the perfect solution, and have been around ever since. While clock length can differ, Olympic curlers are allowed 38 minutes of thinking time per 10 end game.
