PHP & Blade. Real native interfaces. 📱 @ShaneDRosenthal , co-founder of NativePHP, shows how you can build apps that run on SwiftUI for iOS and Jetpack Compose for Android without leaving PHP. He ends with a live build of a Laravel and NativePHP game, taken from prompt to App Store. If you've been waiting for a reason to build a mobile app, here it is. ▶️ Watch the full session: youtu.be/Vl-yfZQeeYU?si=tpHI… #PHPConnect2026 #AIandTheEngineer #PHP #Laravel

The keynote is up. 🚨 @derickr , creator of Xdebug, takes you inside the PHP engine: how the scanner turns your code into tokens, how the parser builds the Abstract Syntax Tree, and how that becomes bytecode the engine runs. If you've ever wanted to understand what PHP does before your code runs, this is the session. ▶️ Watch the full keynote: youtu.be/dxk-KGCk5cM?si=J1dY… 📑 Slides: derickrethans.nl/talks/php-p… #PHPConnect2026 #AIandTheEngineer #PHP #Xdebug

An unprecedented day in my history with PHP. Some bumps along the way, but really proud of the @laravel team for working through the night ensuring all of our products and customers had patches available to them and, when possible, applied automatically. Given the advancement of agents, it's quite possible this won't be the last time this happens, and it's likely PHP won't be the only language that goes through this. We built some solid muscle today to do even better next time. Onward. 🫡

Thank you @bosunski Not once, not twice not thrice but every year since PHPConnect, we’ve been privileged to access your wealth of knowledge. From the PHPTalks community, we say thank you for showing up for this community year after year, and we don’t take that for granted. This time, you took us beneath Docker’s abstractions and back to the fundamentals. We appreciate your dedication towards the growth of the community. You are amazing

Thank you @jesutomiwajs From the PHPTalks community, we say a big thank you for the time, effort and dedication it took to deliver a brilliant session. You started an important conversation about what happens to engineering when more of the work becomes abstracted. Your R.O.E framework gave our community something practical to think about as we learn, build, and work alongside AI. We thank you for delivering a superb experience

Thank you @iamahless From the PHPtalks community, we say a big thank you for giving us something we could take straight back to our work: a practical way to ship better with AI. Your checklist challenged us to bring engineering discipline to the way we use AI, and we’re grateful for the thought you put into sharing it with us. You are amazing 🤩

I took a necessary 2-week rest after co-organising PHPConnect'26 with @PhpTalks to close out with our volunteers My event ops experience highlighted a core overlap: incident command centres run on a similar operational model – clear comms, rapid triage & team alignment.
Day 14/30 - Today’s focus: Registry + Prefetch Forensics & Deeper Nmap Service Enumeration. Also carving out dedicated time to check JD for cybersecurity roles #DFIR #map

Thank you @ohpauladams We want to say something special to you Paul. Coming all the way from Abuja to Karfe Nnyin, Uyo, meant a lot to us. Thank you for making that journey, working with our team through the preparation, and giving our community an honest look at the engineering behind real browser automation. From the PHPTalks Community, we are super grateful to have you with us

Thank you @ElizabethN !! First, from the PHPTalks community, we were pleased to have this opportunity to understand PHP Foundation. We specially thank you Elizabeth for joining us at PHPConnect’26 and, more importantly, showing us that contributing to PHP is something we can all be part of. We’re grateful for the time you took to make that opportunity feel real and accessible. We hope to see our community become a core part of the amazing work in PHPFoundation You are amazing
