Can someone please explain to me how the daily mile is any different to running around a field as a kid in a PE lesson
This whole daily Mile thing is a complete fad! We are polishing a turd! Pupils have always been encouraged to jog or run round a field or playground, granted because the person doing it had no clue what they were doing for a lesson so it seemed like a good way to get warm!

All these videos being posted and you can see children in the background walking, dis-engaged not trying but it’s ok because someone has thrown a load of money at it!

What’s happened to just deciding that your children need a 15minute break from their stuffy over-heated classroom and going onto the playground and just being a child!

Replying to @VanessaOnAir
@VanessaOnAir interesting read, not sure it’s as black and white as you make out. PE has changed since your day. To mention the daily mile as if it is the silver bullet just shows your ignorance.

PE is about trying to encourage an understanding of a healthy lifestyle and being active. This picture is what we want to avoid children binge dieting and fad workouts as adults

If any schools or PE teachers are able to share some of their favourite ways to use Crazy Catch in primary PE lessons, that would be great for our next video project Looking for fun games & drills #lovePE #PEgeeks #primarype @pe4primaryschs @FreddyFitCom @Sportsandpe @afPE_PE

I did it. I bloody did it! I rowed through all 6 cycles of chemo. At the beginning no one could predict how I’d manage. My oncologist predicted extra fatigue because of my history of ME. It wasn’t easy; the 2nd pic shows the end of an outing, but I’m pleased as punch I did it.
