Thailand's 🇹🇭 universal health coverage puts people first: everyone covered, no one left behind, and that builds real trust between government and citizens. It's a powerful example of what's possible when a country decides no one should be left without care. I had a valuable exchange today with H.E. Mrs. Suphanvasa Chotikajan Tang, Thailand’s Ambassador to Denmark. We also discussed how community and primary care sit at the heart of the Thai health system, with health workers among the most trusted professions in the country, a foundation many health systems strive for. We touched on Thailand's ambition to become a regional health hub, sharing expertise and supporting neighbouring countries. As I often say, a healthy society is the prerequisite to innovation, creativity and prosperity. Thailand is showing what that looks like in practice. Thank you, Thailand!
