A boring use of a public Twitter but does anyone else in Bushwick hear the weird constant siren/alarm/buzz/high frequency noise that’s been going on for ages? – at Brooklyn, NY

Also... anyone else in Brooklyn noticing an unnerving increase in sirens over the past couple hours?

I’ve yet to be able to get my thoughts together on @GreatScottROCK closing because I am quite sad but do we think someone could make a GS T-shirt so I could wear my memories proudly? Maybe proceeds could go to a local musician fund or something? Just daydreaming here.

We have a winner! @bentshapes FKA Girlfriends have played at Great Scott 38 times over their career. We miss them so 💕Earthquake Party! is second at 34, The Shills in third at 32, & @KALMARKSBAND / @JahHills tied in fourth at 28
The national suicide hotline is 1-800-273-8255. Musicians face elevated risk, but please know that help is available. We want you to stick around.

It’s with a heavy heart we announce our final shows. We’ve had an incredible run largely thanks to all of you incredible people, but we’ve decided to bring it to a close. It has truly been amazing to share our music with y'all onstage and off. On sale 7/27 @EXIT_IN

Learning to keep the tweets positive, no more will you hear me say “this new Mikal Cronin song sounds like a bad Foo Fighters outtake” or “I heard a new Parquet Courts track that straight up sounded like a Smashmouth b-side”. No sir, it’s positivity all the way
