Friday p.m. 98 confirmed. Only 68 materialised on a gorgeous summer’s day. Where were the missing 30😳? Pilots🙁.

One longhaul sector & 2 shorthaul sectors to get home avoiding DXB last week. Two new airlines and one new type.

Some pilots that I looked up to, always said that after a failed 2nd Approach, divert. Only disregarded this advice once as I knew my initial failings. This is a real ‘butt clenching’ UK #Farmstrip # #Airstrip not for the feint hearted. Saw 1 land, after the 5th attempt today☹️

Checkride with my instructor earlier this week. Visited three #Airstrips two of which were first time for me. This is actually the very first strip that I landed 🐸 at away from my Base almost 9 yrs ago.
Visited my old #Farmstrip base in the #Cotswolds in the #AviatHusky yesterday. Lovely visit and the farmer filmed the #Takeoff

This #BeaglePup was the first light #Aircraft I flew from the front left hand seat, in the company of Ben Gunn, the #Beagle Test Pilot. My father had just flown it before, giving a fabulous aerobatic display which enthralled me! It is so well looked after & looks great.
