Inclusive AI is a key pillar in how we’re working to build a more positive internet. Starting today, you’ll see a significant increase in body type diversity on your @Pinterest feeds – that’s five billion images and videos with more to come. It builds upon the skin tone and hair pattern technology we pioneered and is now widely embraced. Our body type technology is first-of-its-kind and celebrates the diverse shapes, sizes, and forms of various bodies around the world. We’ve been moved by the overwhelming support and enthusiasm from our users on how we’re making Pinterest more inclusive – so we’re thrilled to expand our suite of Inclusive AI features, shaped by their invaluable feedback. Throughout our history, we’ve championed products and policies that foster inclusivity and positivity. Our work is ongoing and this is one of many steps we're taking to bring everyone the inspiration to create a life they love. Curious to learn more? Today, @Pinterest takes another important step in creating a safer, healthier internet. In collaboration with @DigitalWellLab, we are proud to support the Inspired Internet Pledge. The pledge is a call to action for tech companies and the industry to unite with the common goal of making the internet a safer and healthier place for young people. Holding ourselves accountable to designing and maintaining a healthy digital ecosystem for our users is effective when we work together. We shared the news on the @Cannes_Lions stage today because the people and companies that fund the internet can also play a big role in fundamentally changing it. To tech and social media leaders, join us in this movement to support young people's mental health and emotional wellbeing by signing the pledge. Learn more: InspiredInternet.org
