arXiv -> alphaXiv
Students at Stanford have built alphaXiv, an open discussion forum for arXiv papers. @askalphaxiv
You can post questions and comments directly on top of any arXiv paper by changing arXiv to alphaXiv in any URL!
We are truly thankful for the honest review by Malik Alimoekhamedov
We are happy to see that our effort is appreciated, at least by some people.
If nothing else, this book has found its perfect reader!

This was the read of the month for me. Even though this book could be too technical for most, you can read it in multiple instalments and dig progressively deeper. Give it a try. #PKM

If we're going to use #AI, let it be personal, secure, private, and opensource
Personal #knowledgegraphs are a great match for that
#LLMs can be trained/fine-tuned using PKG data and LLMs can be used a natural language interface for PKGs
Any existing efforts in that direction?

Markdown is the de facto standard for PKGs
Although some tools also support PDFs, an #opensource library to convert PDF to markdown fast with high quality sounds very interesting
In its own right, but also as a tool to assist data ingestion

I released marker last week - github.com/VikParuchuri/mark… .
Within 72 hours, marker got to #1 on HN, with 700 votes, and was starred 3.4k times on Github.
I didn't expect this kind of response - thank you so much for the support!

Reminder: individuals & corporations peddling this have a history and an agenda
If you want personal #AI, you better look for #opensource alternatives and personal #KnowledgeGraphs
