Swooning in reminisces of this gorgeous @PlacidAudio #Carbonphone #RU80 that we got to play with when we tracked the album last month. It’s made out of tank intercom bits. @barkbarkdogsp has the coolest stuff

When recording drums, this might be my new favorite position for the @PlacidAudio Copperphone. It adds that little extra something to the snare.
Due to increasing materials and production costs, we will be raising prices on all our models on Oct 15th. Act now if you want to take advantage of the current pricing! #Copperphone #CopperphoneMini #ResonatorB #Carbonphone #RU80 #PlacidAudio #vintagemic #lofi #effectmic

💚 Copperphone Mini, a handmade mic by @PlacidAudio ,Dallas, TX. I've been using it for picking up my whispering voice since 2013. You can hear the most recent recording on Frozen in Time's vocal part in English.

It’s safe to say that @tapeopmag is a major reason why I own a couple of @PlacidAudio microphones. Another reason would be because they sound awesome!
