Just in case you know anyone who has a missing dog, bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-su…, well done to The Police.
The sentences for dog theft (basically an irreplaceable member of your family) should be up there with kidnapping with intention to extort.
Got to make dog theft a massive crime!

For the last two months we’ve picked these cheap, discarded polystyrene bodyboards up every day. Most snap the first time they are used. The fragments litter the strandline, stick to the surfaces of caves and are blown through the dunes.

Do you know what happened to all your childhood toys? Are they still out there, somewhere? All these were found on Cornish beaches.

Litter picking on and around a tidal river is always going to be tricky, but the escalating situation and the winds playing havoc again (3rd time). The river clean at the Hythe this weekend is unfortunately called off. @River_Care @EssexRiversHub @PlasticFreeCol

Next week is the start of the #GreatBritishSpringClean there's a river clean at King Edward Quay, Hythe, Colchester on the 21st. The bankside isn't organised as the main clean is on the river, but I'll be there if anyone wants to come along 9:30 start. @River_Care @PlasticFreeCol

Today our #UKLitterpick took us from Maldon to Tollsbury. There's a slight litter trail as you come out of Maldon, but the Industrial Estate and a few bankings on the river could certainly do with a big #cleanup there 😕
Next big stop on our #awarnesswalk will be Colchester

😮😠It's heartbreaking to see beaches looking like this. We *must* use this emotion and awareness to fuel change.
We can't just forget plastic once it's rehidden in the ocean.
🛑 RT if you'll keep pushing for brands to stop making pointless plastic.

Why you don't need fabric softener.
It's bad for the clothes, your health, and the planet. There is no good reason to use it.

I bought a bamboo toothbrush,
As I’d like to save the planet,
I bought it for each kittiwake
and albatross, and gannet,
To try to send a message out
To everyone like me,
Who always bought the plastic ones,
Which end up in the sea.

Flying out of Stansted for half term? These guys at the departure terminal have a Refill Tap. Take your own bottle, empty it to get through security, then fill up here before you board! ✈️💧💙 #refill @PlasticFreeCol
